Agreed, Religion is superstition with worshipers, they aren't technically the same thing.

Generally people don't kill people for the sake of superstition either, whereas there have been who knows how many murders in the name of some sort of diety.

Yes, many do, although more who might otherwise not can be convinced if deity is added to the mix
