A quick run down. Most brits made a tantrum at the big meanie EU. They pouted and wanted to leave. The majority of Scots didn't vote to leave. They want to stay in the EU and they are part of the UK. So yeah, they are having a domestic dispute.

Why talk about most brits like that? nobody threw a tantrum or pouted, they simply exercised their right to vote on an important issue. As far as I can see, the only people throwing tantrums and moaning are the remain voters.

It doesn't conform to my idea of trying to stick together instead of creating divides. And you don't really want to know how I really feel about brexiters. I don't need to. Its on everybody's sight.

Sorry, but who wanted the first divide? As far as I'm concerned, the Scottish wanted out of the UK so they can go it alone, a bit like a very poor mans version of Alcatraz. The Brits wanted out and it wasn't just the English, but also the Welsh too. As far as I'm concerned, I am happy with the idea of brexit which means we will save some money at last trying to keep the poorer European nations afloat. If we can get the Scots to vote for their independence, then I will be one happy chappy. Because it will mean that those who have received gongs from the Royal family and criticise them in the same breath can fuck off!!!!

A consultation gets under way next week on plans for a second Scottish independence referendum, the SNP's Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed.

She told the party's Glasgow conference that an Independence Referendum Bill would be published next week.

It marks the first step to holding a second vote.

Ms Sturgeon said Scotland had the right to choose a different path if it was not allowed to protect its interests "within the UK".

The first Scottish independence referendum, which took place on 18 September, 2014, resulted in 55% of voters saying "no".

The Scottish Government will try to find ways to maintain EU citizenship for Scottish people, even within a UK that will leave the European Union, the First Minister has told Sky News.

Asked to spell out some of the specifics Nicola Sturgeon will seek in her submission to Brexit negotiations, she said her Government will table "creative" proposals on keeping Scotland in the Single Market shortly.

Asked if that could include Scots keeping EU citizenship, she replied: "These things are all possible.

"I'm not pretending they're easy, or all will be possible in practical terms - but should we rule them out right now in circumstances where everything is up for grabs? We should not".
