Your free will automatically cut God intervention.
Why God should intervene and take away your free will?
God may well intervene but only if you build up a good relationship with him not when you decide to keep your free will regardless.  Lightbulb

What a load of bullshit. You have no say in getting old there is no "free will" to stay healthy and never get old. My mom did not chose to have an abdominal aortic aneurysm. You know how fucking absurd you sound.

Mom, "Hey God I want to have my body fail so I can have a very invasive operation and lose more of my mobility to the point of having to leave my independent living home and all my friends, that would be so much fun".

It's even more absurd when it comes to child rape and murder. Polly Klass "Hey God, you know what would be fun, if one night while I am asleep, a drugged up creep kidnaps me out of my bedroom and rapes me and slits my throat". Please tell me what sane human would "choose" that, much less a kid.

How about a does of reality. 50 million to 60 million humans worldwide die every year from everything, old age, disease, famine, natural disaster, accidental crime and war. Bad things happen to greater or lesser degrees to every human at some point, and everyone dies eventually in any case. It is an insult to my intellect alone to try to chalk suffering up to comic books bullshit. It is like trying to claim Thor doesn't want to interfere with your choice to be struck by lightening.

There is no "free will" in any comic book old bronze age Yoda vs Darth Vader context. Humans can make diet choices and health choices and seek medical help and those are real solutions not needing any sky wizard. But even with medical help everybody's body wears out.

God doesn't force you to smoke, drink use drugs eat junk food or meat full of saturated fats nor does he force you to torture or kill people or damaging the environment.

Humans with their free will do such a things so the buck stops with them.
Nothing to do with God.  Lightbulb

So this poor girl chose  to be raped and murdered? Was that her "free will"?

So you know for sure that she never lived before, do you?
And you know for sure that in a previous life she never did anything wrong?

I see.
Ok show me the evidence.  Worship

RE: Venting here.
Rik, are you implying that Polly Klaas was raped and murdered as punishment for actions in a previous life?
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

This post is more than enough evidence to prove that you are not the harmless deluded fool you appear to be, you are actually a fucking scumbag of the highest order.

Your world view is not only nonsense, it's pernicious..... in fact, fuck that, it's fucking evil.
You may refer to me as "Oh High One."

That is bizarre Fat.

Most atheists rely on science as the real thing to demonstrate how the system works but when this science contradict you you all of a sudden forget this science in favor of other stories.

Science say that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

This is an universal law Fat.
I did not invent it.
If you don't like it why don't you try to change it so people who commit crimes in previous lives get off the hook?
Is this what you want?  Worship

So you take something from Physics 101 and apply it metaphorically (as you tend to do with every stray fact of science you happen to know) to your ridiculous dogmatic system and the alleged law of Karma and then accuse others of being unscientific?

Idiot.

I'll say this for you: you take victim blaming to a whole new level -- or plane, if you wish. A girl is raped and murdered, but she had it coming? You are a repulsive person and should be ashamed of yourself.

NDEs show plenty of evidence that life goes on and on.
Life after life until we sort out all problems.

You see a dead body but you can not see the consciousness that was in that body so you get fooled that
nothing is left.
Don't get fooled man.
Don't waste your precious time chasing fantasies.  Lightbulb
