It may not matter. You held onto your convictions. I see precious few doing that these days, and when it comes to caring for someone, it makes a huge difference.

Quote:I was already married when my stepson's mother finally went over the edge of incompetence. There was no way I was leaving the poor kid with her. In fact, there was no leaving him with her. It was us or foster care. I couldn't run and didn't really want to at the time.Ah. Guess in some situations you just can't run. I plan to avoid those situations. I'm always making sure there's some kind of emergency exist. Somewhere to run if things get a little sticky. Quote:I don't want to run because it might be from the right person. However, I know I should have run from my marriage a long time before I did.Choosing when to run and when not to. I ran from Jess at the appropriate time, which was when I found out that she's been in bed with other men. Been 7 months since I last spoke to her. Quote:Ha, it is too easy to lose confidence in yourself. You gain it back, though. (I do background checks too, but I have only dated once in the past three years and it didn't work out.)I've only ever lost confidence in others, not so much myself. I've always managed to get out of tricky situations, so far certain people are trying to get me into tricky situations for their own personal gain. This is where lack of trust starts. Can't help but question people's motives. Quote:You're screwed.Yep, I'm screwed. A choice between drunk druggies and mums who've been in bed with half a dozen men is not much of a choice. If I had a coin, instead of flipping it, I'd put it in my pocket and just walk away. Quote:Wow!I know, she's impossible. She lead me on for years, I disappear for a little while, come back only to find that she's been with other men and that she's now a single mum. What makes things even more of a joke is that she was expecting that I'd be happy with simply jumping in and playing happy family. What the jolly fuck? Since when did it become my responsibility to raise other peoples kids? We aren't friends anymore. ---- http://5e.media.v4.skyrock.net/music/5ea...2ceaaa.mp3 Com'on Shell. Lets have a little romantic dance.... Just the two of us.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
Haha, I'll dance with you to corny 80s music anytime, Ace.
For me, though on smaller scale, that's an every day event.

You lucky people... it takes my scalp hair nearly a year to grow out even close to where it is right now.
And yet here I am with body hair that is nothing short of ridiculous to deal with. -_- Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
Oh, I've got a mat of chest hair that could probably be dreadlocked if I didn't cut loose on it with a hedge trimmer.
