It's "fake" news because the purpose is perception management of the masses to control the narrative that reaches them. Plus the news is funny because they come across as butt hurt losers who cherry pick the things they don't like or can easily destroy like a straw man. You can tell easily by watching the whole press conference, and then watching how the news covers it. And then they will go on and on in a hysterical fashion about how horrible it is. Same when watching one of his speeches, and seeing the narrative constructed by the medias coverage of it, and seeing what they choose to report vs everything said in the speech. Simple minded leftists who like to think they are part of the club by joining the establishment and repeating their talking points are even funnier, because they think they are so smart for adopting a carefully constructed narrative.

Fake news is news that is entirely manufactured, lies that have zero basis in reality, not just some slant left of right. Lies that possibly got this man elected, though we'll never know. The fact he has coopted the word FAKE and is trying to make it synonymous with BIAS or DISAGREEMENT is bad for all people, left, right and center. This isn't liberal tears, no matter how much you try and paint it that way. This is people of all stripes (check out the right leaning news like FOX, and Republican senetors fight it, as well) coming to gether to fight an actual threat from the inside.

The common people who are letting this happen are complicit in what they accuse "the left" of all the time. This could actually, for real and permanent, destroy our democracy. It might not, but it has the potential to.
