Listen to Morbid Angel's first three albums and some Slayer. Necrophobic is stellar. Give metal a chance; you may end up loving it. If you do, I am chock-full of recommendations. Do NOT just listen to any metal that comes your way. A lot of copycats have corroded this stark genre.
I'm not sure if Slayer is atheistic or misotheistic.
