It was the "deadly force where needed" part, making it sound like you think killing Assange is needed, but I guess that's not what you meant so sorry about that. I don't have a belief that Hillary is literally insane and I don't know if Trump is either. I'm just using it in the same way people do with say Mike Huckabee or someone like that when he says the really messed up shit he says.

While we can hope Hillary would have been a better president than Trump, and we can believe Hillary would have been a better president than Trump, and we pray Hillary would have been a better president than Trump, the cold, hard, unpleasant, relentless evidence from Shattered provides no reasonable basis for concluding any such thing.  Clearly, she would have been different, but different is no guaranty of being 'better'.

Example after example are cited in Shattered (400 pages worth) of a candidate, as I have noted before, who could not be trusted to organize a church picnic.  And there is concurrency with the book HRC, who's first section paints an all too familiar portrait of another doomed campaign run by Hillary.

Unfortunately (and ghastly) reading Shattered and the 'autopsy' of the 2008 failed primary bid in HRC strongly evokes a (notorious) episode of Seinfeld where George Costanza starts doing the opposite of his first impulse and his life turns around (but he can't stand it) and the parallel to Hillary is crystal clear.

Actually I think that Bill Maher nailed it.  Progressives cannot seem to understand the difference between an "imperfect friend" and a "deadly enemy."  They cannot deal with the fact that no one is perfect.

This bullshit bitterness between Hillary and Bernie SUPPORTERS, is not being perpetrated by either Hillary or Bernie themselves. Both camps had scorched earthers "all or nothing". Most Bernie and Hillary supporters are not like that and would have been happy with either if they had won.

But this bullshit is still here and I am tired of this shit. And as great as either Hillary or Bernie would have been, I don't want either to run in 2020 precisely because of, not their majority supporters respectively, but the minority of both camps that were big enough to either vote third party or sit out. The worst part of it, is not even caring that SCOTUS mattered and now 45 has the potential to make it even worse. 

We need new blood in 2020 without the baggage of either. 4 years is bad enough, 8 years of 45 will take an entire generation to undo.

Different is the only word I can use with the evidence on hand. Use of the term better is unsupported by the facts in HRC and Shattered.

I suppose it's too early to speculate on the effect What Happened will have if I can stomach reading it*, but interviews to date have only reinforced painful conclusions drawn from 2 VERY tough reads so far.

Hillary Clinton wouldn't have nominated Betsy DeVos or Neil Gorsuch. That alone would make her better. Nor would she have put Scott fucking Pruitt in charge of the EPA. She could literally nominate anyone to those positions, and do a better job than Trump. Because she would at least put some fucking thought into it and hired someone competent and qualified. Oh and she wouldn't have put Rick Perry in charge of the DOE when he wanted to abolish the fucking department without knowing what it fucking did.

If Hillary had won do you really think we'd have an ignorant oil executive as secretary of state, a climate-change denying environmental rapist running the EPA, Rick Fucking Perry in charge of the nation's nukes, a nazi like Tom Price to head the Dept of Health and Human service, a bumbling baboon who hates poor people to run HUD when he has no experience running anything except his big mouth, a KKK-er as attorney general, a Secy of Transportation whose main job is to suck Mitch McConnell's cock, a crooked Wall St. scumbag who liked to foreclose on little old ladies as Secy of the Treasury, not to mention judges who think fucking jesus is more important than the constitution?
