I think it's possible to grow out of behaviour linked with OCD and aspergers.
My symptoms were definitely a lot worse when I was very young until I made a conscious effort to change. There are some things that have still stuck though.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

I know the wife has got OCD bad though...
The good side of it for me is the house is always clinically clean! (Why do you think I married her! hehe)

My wife used to line up the cat food cans so that all the cat pictures were facing the same way. I told her it was an illness and she needed a drink.

It gets really old having to drive around the block to make sure that the garage door closed. Thanks honey.
