What's funny is that I have already pointed out the redundancy of this thread since it literally is IN the christian section of these forums.

I like the fact that there are Christians here. In fact I wish there were more theists. Jörmungandr posted a thread about God being perfect, and I thought the discussion was really interesting and thought-provoking. That wouldn't happen in a homogeneously atheistic environment. I think the coolest thing about these forums is that there is room for everyone, from rabid anti-theists like the OP to "Bible-based Christians" like Drich. Granted, I'm new here, but as far as first impressions go, I like how there is a plurality of views.

Yep, discussion with theists is great and can be quite productive, as long as the thread doesn't evolve into one where the theist decides to get all preachy. Then it can get ugly.

Especially around me.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
