Nobody answered my question. Is she dead now?
I vaguely remember a lady punk singer back in the 80s/early 90s who did really, for the time, outrageous stuff on stage/video.
I cheated because I couldn't stand it, but now I know, so I will let someone else try to answer. Yes, she is dead. She was outrageous!

Okay, it's apparently Wendy O. Williams.
Then again, Miley Cyrus has been known to do the same thing. I've got a video of her with Joan Jett playing "Crimson and Clover" and she's clearly got electrical tape (or some sort of tape) covering her nipples. On the off chance a phone-quality video of a woman whose nipples are just barely censored might cross some guidelines, it's been hidden.
And to think she used to just be the idol of teenyboppers. Now I think she's earned what I'd like to call Sinatra cred.

Joni Mitchell wrote the song Woodstock.
We are stardust! She was a scientist!
Name a 60's era band that sang a tribute to mammaries? Name the author who wrote "The Naked and the Dead" from which they got their name? From that book, what is their name a euphemism for?

Yep, based on what CSN told her about it. She missed Woodstock for a TV interview she had booked and her manager told her to keep. Big mistake. Her version of it is really trippy.
Bob Dylan began writing "Tangled Up in Blue" after listening to Mitchell's album "Blue." He said the song took him ten years to live and two years to write. If you listen to live versions you'll hear changes to it. It was a work in process.

Dylan ALWAYS keeps changing his songs live. Perhaps it wasn’t as obvious until the Never Ending Tour started, but Dylan’s songs always kept evolving. Although it seems “Tangled Up In Blue” was just an earlier and more obvious example.
