And here I didn't think you were the type. Who's on stage???
Just local small time stuff on an eighth mile track. One young fella had an old 260z with a BB Chevy in it. That was one fast car! I saw a 68 bug and several old Novas. Sadly nitro'ed 4 bangers seem to be the most prevalent cars.

Finished a bit of electrical work. Among other things, I have a new outlet for my piano and no longer have to run an extension cord halfway across the living room.
Celebrating with a finger of scotch.

I have a truck with a BBC (402) in it, and a camper shell on it. Surprises people at the traffic light when they think they are going to swerve in front of me to get to the on ramp. I can spot 'em a mile away...edging slowly forward, watching the light. I've cut many a light back in the day (I used to bracket race a '69 RS Camaro with a 327 and a 4-speed Muncie). They're mightily disappointed when the big orange boat gets a hole shot! If I take off fast, my wife starts yelling at me. Pretty funny, because that truck has been in the family for over 45 years. It'll still spin the tire (peg-leg 3.54) and chirp second. It needs rebuilding, but I'm thinking about a 454 instead. There is no replacement for displacement.
BoT, we're down to the short strokes on the new block wall in front of the house. Picked up a couple of 90# sacks of concrete mix yesterday, and am paying the price, today.

It's a Yamaha digital, 88 keys but light enough to tuck under my arm and chuck into the trunk of the car if needed for a show. Haven't owned a strings-and-hammers piano since I moved out of my parents' home in 1977, although I enjoy playing the real thing when they're available.

I've performed live on keyboards, guitar, regular clarinet, alto clarinet, alto sax, flute and violin. (Clarinet is my main instrument, though.)

I have a 5 pound dead-blow hammer made of copper that I nick-named Mjölnir. Does that count as a musical instrument? It generally makes a pretty flat note, like thud.
