I would fall over in shock if Trump were to do that. It would be too close to admitting he was wrong.  Which is simply not in his toolbox of character traits.

He picked, then kicked Omarosa. That's about as wrong as you can get.

Yeah, but by laying the tracks now, he can insist that he suspected all along that this guy was a dirtbag. It's not admitting you're wrong when you're only admitting that you knew it from the start.

Apparently Kavanaugh spent a considerable amount of time preparing for the hearing and rehearsing his testimony. I wonder if he also rehearsed the tears, the sniffling, and that weird, tardive dyskinesia thing that he kept doing with his tongue.

I think the tears were the part he practiced the most. His mask slipped in that testimony. There were unrehearsed moments of fury and indignation that will hopefully sink into Senate Republicans and convince them to vote against this rageaholic.

I am willing to bet that trump has something on Kavanaugh. And on every judge on that list.

Kavanaugh, being outed publicly already, may have lost his value.

That makes sense, actually. His value is gone and Trump can probably find (or has already found) another way not to get indicted.

From start to finish all I saw was an entitled, spoiled brat who thinks that seat is owed to him.

There is no comparison.

The Democrats may have or may not have manipulated the process.  The Republicans are transparently manipulating the process.  There is no comparison between a suspicion that the process might have been manipulated, and the blunt and obvious manipulation by the Republicans.

There is no comparison.

Kavanaugh is being rushed in, and that's clearly political maneuvering on part of the Republicans. If the Democrats have done maneuvering, its in response to this rushed process.

Very good point.

Not true.

Kagan took 87 days to be confirmed after nomination. Sotomayor and Roberts both 72 days. Gorsuch 66 days. Thomas 106 days and Souter 71 days. Trump picked Kavanaugh on July 9th. It's been 82 days. Nothing has been rushed. It's right on schedule.
Death is a debt we all must pay.
