It sucks to picture myself hiring a butler.
Start small. Wear a cape and growl at people.

I'm already doing so virtually in here, if you think about it. If I was a native American they would call me "The bat who growls at people"

I keep taking my parents out to the movies and the opera. I even bought mum a pearl necklace. But they never get shot. Advice?

Oh no! I’m so sorry for your loss. I understand the pain of losing a furry friend. My cat passed away in October, too. I’m glad you adopted another one, though. How’s Sunshine (is that another furry friend?) receiving the new guy?
I'm sorry for your loss also and thanks for caring. No Sunshine is more like an adopted child, in actuality she is a foster child, she is 40 years old but lives in the world of a 4 year old, she is like a daughter to me.

Wow, that's horrible. Sorry to see this.
Thank you for caring.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Very busy with work and family. I get on here once in a blue moon only to post the films I managed to watch!
