Last day in Brisbane, I am leaving tomorrow. I don't want to leave. But will be happy to see my cat again.

Yesterday John's flight got delayed, same airline. He didn't leave until 8pm his flight was supposed to leave at 11am. Same damned thing for me today. I won't be getting home until Friday, instead of Thursday.

Yea, just food vouchers. But better safe than sorry. Not like the flat tire on a car, cant pull over.

I should think that you would be entitled to a little more compensation than that. Delayed returns can cost travelers a lot of money in having to procure additional guest accommodations, having to shell out extra cash for additional childcare and/or kenneling for children and pets back at home, missed wages, having to use extra vacation days, etc. If you've got time to kill that's something you may want to look into. If it's a safety/maintenance issue with the planes the delay is understandable, but it's not your fault. It could very well be the airline's though. Passengers shouldn't be be out because of it. You should always take a bomb on the plane with you because the chances of there being two bombs on the same plane are very small.
