Yeah, no. That's not Karen behaviour. Not remotely.

No, Karen is also a term that supermarket employees use for shoppers who complain or make a huge deal over nothing. I.E., you returning an item you were overcharged for a few cents you couldn’t spend on anything anyway.

Quite right Boru, over one US$ overcharge in fact - charged £3.39 instead of the advertised £2.50. I actually had a very pleasant and jovial conversation with the customer services lady over the matter with more than one bout of mutual laughter - zero acrimony was present....perhaps Eleven usually has a tantrum over such matters
I wonder how all the nice ladies called Karen feel about this "meme." RE: What Do You Know Today That You Didn't Know Yesterday?

The only real issue I have with this incident is that you’re using Bisto in the first place. Awful stuff. But I’m a bit of a food snob, so that’s just me. Boru

I love Bisto....it's up there with fish and chips for me, in fact. It is also the most expensive type of gravy granules usually available Yes there's something to be said for messing around creating a roux and adding homemade stock and wine etc etc etc for hours on end, then realising you've over reduced it so there isn't enough to go round and it tastes bland compared to Bisto (aaaaah, Bisto!) anyway....I have relatives who snub the Bisto too...utter insanity in the family
What do I know today that I didn't know yesterday? That "gravy granules" are a thing.
If Sunday roasts were a thing in the states, you would have AWTY.
