In 1184, a number of nobles from all across the Holy Roman Empire were meeting at The Church Of Saint Peter in Erfurt, Duchy of Thuringia. Their combined weight caused the floor beneath them to collapse into the latrine beneath them. At least sixty people drowned in liquid excrement. The incident is known as 'the Erfurt latrine disaster'.
What a shitty way to die.

And yet, somehow fitting.

Listen, pal - if it weren’t for European nobility, you would even know what inbred, time wasting, incompetence WAS.
So there.

You haven't truly lived until you've moved your household in a taxi

Loved? I had to leave all my belongings in an open-top trailer overnight once because someone didn't show up with the keys to my new place.

Apeirophobia is the irrational and excessive fear of infinity and the uncountable, causing discomfort and sometimes panic attacks from intrusive thoughts of the infinity. It normally starts in adolescence, but in some rare cases, it can start before then. From Greek άπειρος (ápeiros) "infinite, boundless" and φόβος (phóbos) "fear". It may be caused by existential dread about eternal life after death. This fear is often connected with thanatophobia (fear of dying) since many sufferers would believe that eternity follows life, especially learning that afterlife would never end.

Safflower oil has a smoke point of 510°F. I've started working on my steak cooking skills. I used canola oil last time for searing, but there was some limited smoking.

A Taxi? My tools wouldn’t fit all in a taxi, let along household knickknacks. And the tools are purely discretionary for voluntary handyman style work.

Avocado oil beats it by 10 degrees.

Four round trips In a taxi. Our last move in the USA required a large moving truck. Point is - we are often anchored by our possessions.
Point is - next time I need to move to another city, I might just take everything that won't fit in a pickup truck and put it in the middle of the street and set it on fire.

In one of the more exquisite collections of English words, Fort McLeod, Alberta, Canada is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site named - I kid you not - ‘Head-Smashed-In Buffalo-Jump’. The name is based on a Blackfoot legend that a young brave wanted to see what a buffalo jump looked like from the base of the cliff, with predictable results. They have a museum and everything.
