If your flight is delayed.

If your flight is delayed.
SHUT THE FUCK UP! If you get a "delayed" icon on the flight list at the airport, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP. Be it mechanical or weather, waiting is better than being dead.

On my last trip to Australia, on my way back, I got stuck in Brisbane for 9 hours, at the airport because of mechanical issues with the jet that eventually picked me up 9 hours after it was originally left LA and was scheduled to land in Brisbane. YES, IT SUCKED. I sat for 9 hours  when the original flight was scheduled for the morning. But I waited, and I waited, and the most important thing was I DID NOT DIE!

Point being, even outside air traffic, humans are too fixed on fast in getting anything. I got home both of my trips to Australia, and even my trip to Japan 2000, because all the pilots in all cases, put safety over customer bullshit.

If the NRA were in control of the FAA we'd all be fucked.

I hate even "30 minutes or less" implied by fast food delivery services. I don't know how many people remember that a major pizza chain back in the 80s/or early 90s  got sued for an employee accident that ended up in injury,

Point being it is not always good to rush.

I mean, people are allowed to complain about things. I have things in my life that frustrate and/or piss me directly off, I just don’t feel the obsessive need to spew them like sawdust out of a wood chipper.

You hate a lot of things. I don’t think that’s good for you - you don’t seem strong enough to carry all that hate.

I have a sad story about a long layover in an airport due to weather. My first husband died on December 20, 1984. I flew out from Arizona a couple days later heading to Iowa for the funeral. I got stranded in Chicago due to a snowstorm. I spent eight hours sitting in an airport, heavily medicated, being moved from gate area to gate area. Everyone was pretty upbeat as they were heading home for the Christmas holiday...I was heading home to bury my husband. Boo Hoo right.

People react to things differently. It's quite possible that the initial reaction of people is that they have another flight to make or a meeting they have to get to or maybe a funeral to attend.
