And the sad thing is, many right-wingers already think they're already doing so. The famous Ben Shapiro "facts don't care about your feelings" quote aside, I started following the madness with Nathan Larson a while back, and a crucial part of how his radical beliefs got formed is that he believed that since he was able to think completely without emotion and see through emotion, whatever he came up with must be the truth.

The "truth" he came up with? Buckle your seatbelts, because this should be wild:

• It's vital for the fate of the earth for white people to defeat the Jews in the battle for supremacy.
  
• The only thing wrong with Adolf Hitler was that he wasn't around for Anarcho-capitalism to come into being.
  
• If cities can make themselves "sanctuary cities" safe for immigrants, other cities should be able to name themselves "sanctuary cities" from non-whites.
  
• Eliminate any and all laws against racial discrimination.
  
• Girls should be married in their early teens at the latest, and single women in their mid-20s count as "abandoned property."
  
• Abolish most every legally-enforced age limit.
  
• Abolish plea bargains.
  
• Legalise insider trading.

All these views, if you were to ask Nathan Larson, were supposedly the product of thinking without emotion. Of course, you can't ask him because he died in prison after attempting to kidnap a 12-year-old girl. It should go without saying that nothing of value was lost that day.

Based upon our nonrandom, unscientific sample of 4 votes, I would say that next week's outcome is a true toss-up. Looks like Senator Charles Grassley may be in trouble, with the last minute push by Admiral Franken.

Hmmm. My worst nightmares are distinct and opposite my fondest hopes. Ecstatic to be proven wrong on some things and hoping that I am at least right on this one.

For some reason, they never sent my updated voters card. Even though it is stated I can vote without it, I have a spotty record when it comes to building up the energy to go out in public just to vote. But when I do vote,, it's usually just for the presidency.

Democracy is on the ballot, might be worth getting up for.
