I don’t think he is willing fully ignorant about the things he Peddles. I think he peddle these things knowing full well their harmful effect for most of mankind. He does it out of sheer malevolence and pathological malice towards most of mankind.
His confusion lies mainly in two things. The first is his delusion that his kind will prosper if most of mankind is screwed. The second is his delusion that he is somehow significant in any way so that his peddling these things out of malevolence will somehow signify somewhere.

I've always wondered about that. The idea that some people have that they would do well or even better..if others did worse.
