While not at all dangerous to humans, as few as five brazil nuts will set off the leak alarm in a nuclear power plant.

Cats are actually not particular good at killing rats (mice, yes). They do, however, deter rats. So, killing off the cats probably didn’t lead to an actual increase in the rat population as much as it simply moved them into human-populated areas.
Either way, still Greg’s fault.

Plate tectonics, the slow side to side movement of the crust of the earth over geological time, is actually powered almost exclusively for the up and down force of the earth’s gravity. There is virtually no external side ho side force dragging the crust around.

That's a funny way to pronounce George.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
