That not really being legal here, I'm settling on cremation and spreading over Hill Country., or put 'em in the Pedernales and let me go to the ocean.

I plan to live forever. It's working so far.

You will only ever experience being alive.  No one experiences being dead. That makes you immortal, to yourself.

Cremation. Donating my body for medical student training, and after they're done with it the default is to cremate and inter the ashes in a special area of a local cemetery.

I did consider this. I may still do this if the rest of my carcass could be used to feed some vegetation. I'm 70 yo, and I guess I'd better start checking into a less polluting after-death treatment.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Seems like plenty already have done that ... though they might not know it yet.

I don't really care what hapens to my corpse after I'm finished using it (I won't know about it anyway) but I have told my family to try for transplant/research if any of the gloppy bits are any use, otherwise whatever is cheapest (no point spending good beer money feeding the flames or the worms)
(I have also told them that if anyone uses the phrase "passed" or "passed away" I'll come back and haunt them.. I will be dead, don't wimp out with pathetic euphemisms!)

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!
