Daily conspiracy
RE: Daily conspiracy
It's been 8 months since this interview and I'm starting to wonder when are we going to see and fly in these reverse engineered crafts in our skies? Not to mention other gadgets.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Laser beam from space, Khamenei son: Big bang theories on Raisi chopper crash

Soon after initial reports of Raisi's chopper crashing in Iran's mountainous northwest came to light on Saturday, social media was abuzz with theories proposing foul play by one or other.

Israel, a longstanding enemy of the Shia nation, naturally emerged as the prime suspect. Though the crash was caused by bad weather and involved an old helicopter, people still saw an Israeli plot given the Jewish nation's friction with Iran.

The United States, the traditional and ideological ally of Israel, has also been blamed by a few, for the crash of the chopper carrying Raisi and the top Iranian officials.

Former Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, blamed American sanctions on aviation parts for the crash of the chopper carrying Raisi. Iran still relies on outdated American copters.

Another chatter of X that immediately caught the eye are posts with, "If nobody else is going to say it then I will". A handful of accounts on X carrying the sentence have linked the chopper crash to an attack using the 'Direct Energy Weapons'.

Posts promoting unpasteurized dairy have racked up millions of views, and celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow have touted the supposed benefits. — even though it can make people very sick.

The growing legalization of unpasteurized dairy has coincided with a decline in confidence in public health advice from the CDC since the coronavirus pandemic, which has been noted in research and polls.

At the same time, influencers on social media have claimed raw milk has health benefits that are lost in the pasteurization process — something scientists and public health officials strongly dispute.

I suppose hoping for an H5N1 jump to humans thru milk is a bit vicious.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

This reminds me that Abraham Lincoln's mother and a few siblings died by contracting Brucellosis from drinking raw milk - because this was the everyday life before people discovered pasteurization.

Raw dairy was lethal on a global scale long before bird flu.  Yet another demonstration of how we're in the worst possible timeline.  Before we started pasteurizing and refrigerating milk we were cutting it with formaldehyde, salicylic acid, and plaster.  Maybe those are the missing nutrients the nuts can't get enough of in their diets? Point is, you won't have to wish...silver linings.

My paternal grandparents had a smallish, rather primitive farm.  I have the stainless-steel pitcher grandpa used to fill up with milk straight from the cows for use in the house.

No one died.

Well...quite a few someones did, just not them. A nice stroke of luck, but not a sound basis for food policy.

The stuff is just fine, up until that one time it isn't. I mean all the stupid dangerous shit I did in my misspent youth wasn't any less dangerous becauee I happen to still be alive to deny it ever happened.

Yeah, I mean, with milk it's pretty much never fine. Raw milk has never been and is not now safe. It's one of those things we have good numbers for..and it's on par with immunization for lives saved. A modern marvel that the us was at the leading edge of food safety and the envy of the world with when it was fully rolled out by the newly formed fda back in the 20's. You can still sell it, ofc, and people can still drink it. There's no law against either thing. Just has to be labeled as pet food. Personally, I won't be eating any pet food until I've already eaten all the pets first. The raw milk bit is actually the lunatic left and the lunatic right converging on the weirdest sliver of a venn diagram. Alot of anti-vax and anti-vax adjacent stuff is that way. Yesterday they were supposed to mock the lefties and their cat food csas and raw food movements...but today they're supposed to say that they were always at war with Big Milk. No actual guiding principles or beliefs at play. Just a changing list of approved messages. Just as soon as they all agree to swill the shit down the line will change 180deg again.

RE: Daily conspiracy
Well, when it comes to raw milk and politicians, I remember this news from 2016 about Republicans

Quote:After Legalizing Raw Milk, Legislators Fall Ill From Drinking Raw Milk

Lawmakers who passed a bill to legalize the consumption of raw milk fell ill after drinking raw milk to celebrate their victory. According to WSAZ, after passing legislation that allowed residents of West Virginia to drink raw milk, some delegates celebrated by consuming the unpasteurized dairy beverage. In a strange coincidence — or not — many of them became ill hours and days later. After an anonymous complaint to the Department of Health and Human Resources, state health officials are now investigating the matter.

While many are attributing the bouts of illness to consuming raw milk, other lawmakers say there has been a stomach bug going around which may have caused the sickness. One sick delegate, Pat McGeehan, agrees with the stomach bug theory. He states, "I had a small sip and walked away and tossed the rest of it. I highly doubt raw milk had anything to do with it, in my case." The local news station spent some time in McGeehan's office while he laid on a sofa, his hand over his face, moaning about stomach cramps.
