Stupid things religious people say
RE: Stupid things religious people say
https://dallashomelesssolutions.com/

"The Office of Homeless Solutions was designed to be the change agents in the homeless community. With the help of partnering organizations and community members like you, we offer strategic initiatives and street outreach to overcome homelessness throughout the city by implementing initiatives with consistency, transparency, and accountability. Our innovative solutions ensure our homeless neighbors receive food, shelter, housing, help to overcome barriers, and opportunities for a better life. We seek to provide public and private partners with the tools, resources, and opportunities to join the cause and help unsheltered individuals in our community."

Looks a lot to me like a group that is trying to stop panhandling by providing things that are needed by the homeless community and to help them get off the streets. Heartless bastards.

So what they are saying is: “don’t help the poor, you’re doing it wrong.”
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Driving in certain areas of downtown is dangerous with people walking into traffic trying to get money from people trying to get to work.

You need to dismount that fucking high horse you ride.

SUMMARY
Just like Matt Dillahunty, I have had many conversations with theists over the years.
Sometimes, there comes a point where you ask something or maybe you give a reasonable answer to the theist and the theist feels trapped.

Here is a nice example of this:

Ya but how many people are doing that sort of scam? My guess is, not many.

Also, people should probably report these cases to the police, since fraud = crime.
The police can write the info into the fraudsters profile, and include the dashcam video into this file, if one is available.
The next time the fraudster tries that again, give him 1 y in prison.

If everyone stays quiet, nobody calls the cops, then the fraudster's record will look clean.

At no time did I imply that the people who panhandle on the streets of downtown Dallas are fraudsters.

When you're a Christian woman, you can't just go to Cannes like a normal person. Instead, you have to wear a giant cape with a painting of Jesus. Then, you have to accuse everyone who doesn't bow to your cape, or just finds it on the way, of being a persecutor of Christians. Actress Massiel Taveras really revealed how the movie industry hates Jesus and Christians.

The Catholic priest saw 'possessed' 5ft nun crawl up a wall 'like a squirrel' and 'overpower six men' and was seen by 2000 people. He was also asked to go out for a drink by Satan!

Reverend Daniel Reehil performs exorcisms on people who he says have been possessed by the devil, and recently revealed some of the scariest things he's seen.

"I remember there was a little nun, about 100lbs, 5ft. When she was going through a deliverance, it took six large men, my size, to hold her down."

"I’ve seen that same nun run up a 20ft wall like a squirrel, and 2,000 people at a conference saw it too."

"We had people flying from all over the world staying with us. Some for a week, [but] that one little nun who crawled the wall, she was there for over a year. It took a year."

"She was satanically ritually abused as a baby and she didn’t know it. And so that had to all come out."

-- On meeting Satan --

Reverend Reehil recalled: "I come out of the church and there’s this beautiful, handsome man [in a] custom tailored suit, and he’s staring at me.

"I turned to walk towards my office and he runs up next to me and he grabs me by the arm.

"He goes, 'Let’s get a drink'. And I just had chills go up and down my body and I said, 'Get away from me.'"

Reverend Reehil ran away from the strange man and escaped to his New York apartment, and didn't think much of the incident until a few years later, after he had become a priest.

"I was on vacation visiting an old banker friend in a bar in Miami," he recalled.

"I turned and I look and it’s him, it’s the one who wanted to get the drink.

"He walks up, and he goes, ‘What are you doing here, I thought you were gonna be a priest?’ And he goes, 'This is my territory. You shouldn’t be here.'"

luci is a lightweight. Just one fireball, and she becomes all handsy. I mean, it's a fun ride, but she's hearing wedding bells.

Theists are always claiming that their god is mysterious, that he plays hide and seek when I ask them why doesn't he want to show himself.
When I ask why doesn't the Satan guy show himself, they say that he doesn't want to give evidence either bc then I would start believing in the jewish god.

So, why are these devils or whatever giving evidence like the above story?
On top of that, if the policy is to not give evidence, then why did Jesus show up 2000 y ago (or Moses, or Esiah, or Mohammed or Joseph Smith or whoever the prophet of the year was.)

Now, the theist is stuck. He would have to say
1. God works in mysterious ways we don't understand. He will quote that line from the Bible, something about "my ways are not your way"
2. He is a god. He can do whatever he wants.
