The
Vrykolakas is a loose Greek equivalent of a vampire. Although, its appearance in folklore was created in the eighteenth century. Therefore, during Minoan times they might not have had a clue as to its identity.
The first known written reference to vampires was in 1047 in Old Russian, using the word upir. Although the same
Source states that ancient Greece might have had oral references to vampires.

Meanwhile, in the real world, I checked my local Half-Price Books and found two copies for a combined total price of $8.48. I didn’t buy either because (aside from already owning one) I was more interested in the 3-Disc Blu-ray of Army of Darkness that they had for $14.98.
If it was ever on disc or a streaming service, it qualifies as media.

Ziggy is getting too old to be startled without injury...to me.
I was going to lean over and kiss the top of his big ole lunk head last night and he jumped up and his head hit my forehead drawing up an instant lump above my eyebrow. Despite holding ice on it till I had a miserable ice cream headache, today I have a lovely bruise and it still hurts though most of the swelling has gone down.
