Exactly; I'm glad you're beginning to understand.

But ‘man’ and ‘god’ are. That’s where it all falls down.

Again, almost every representation of a deity, in every religion throughout history, takes some physical form. The Sun is easily the most widespread deity, but you also have the moon, rivers, the wind, statues and idols, fire and totems, cats, elephants, eagles, bulls, etc.

The Abrahamic religions have one of the most abstract definitions of God, so what definition are you using that makes it incompatible with man?

What Architect said. Can you define ‘man’ in such a manner as to include all aspects of ‘god’?

Man is not omniscient, omnipotent, free of the bounds of spacetime, immortal, ethereal, etc, etc.

Gods are inherently supernatural entities defined by the fact they are beyond mortal means and limitations merely having physical form doesn't cut it.

Every defining character of a god that makes them a god

And? Every iteration still anchors it in some physical form. So what are you talking about?

You're getting dangerously close to the truth about gods with some of this stuff.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
