Do mimsy atheists gyre and gimble in the wabe?

This reminds me of the time when Dick Cheney shot his lawyer in the face, and the lawyer apologized for getting his face in the way.

Hey,

Please, how would you prefer me to act? My natural response to rudeness is deep cynicism. I don't want to yell back at you, and I don't want to just pretend you are talking normally.

Your last post was fantastic. It could not have had less substance. Literally could not.

Tell me how you would prefer me to respond when you cross these lines, and I will do so. You're in charge. You're the big man. Shit, I'm doing it again, aren't I?

I don't want to step on toes, but this is a recurring issue. That you guys feel the need to act less than proper with regards to how you write what you write to me. You and I know (heck I do it some) that most of it is written to offend as much as possible, not to convey information, or be realistic. I don't usually respond in kind, I respond with a mixture of said cynicism and a continuation of my argument. But I get a lot of flack for doing that. I only act rudely to people who treat me rudely. I only lie to people who lie to me (and then only if it is truly necessary). So for me to be mocked, or punished for returning the behavior I am shown seems a little one-sided. But feel free. It makes a good point on it's own.

So seriously. Tell me how to conduct myself in your house, and I will try.
Or stop getting upset when I bite back a little. Or treat me like you would want to be treated. That's what Jesus said. Good piece of advice. But, as an exercise in free will, please do whatever you want. Don't mind me.

Thank you,
-Pip

Have you considered leaving?

I did that once. I have considered it again recently.

The way you would like me to respond to your rudeness is to leave? Strange.
I think that is still a statement with little substance. The point seems to (still) be to be rude and arrogant instead of actually having a discussion. May be I should leave. I have learned a lot about the nature of Atheists and Agnostics. No, I am kidding, I have only learned about 10 or so people. But I am rehashed in my opinion of the average modern person. Not very impressed at all, but I already knew that. Throw me off your website because I refuse to be pushed around. I respond poorly to posts that can be read "Fuck you assole. signed -Kyu". And you are the least bit surprised? Just very, very, very unimpressed right now. If I do stay, I don't think I have anything else to say to someone with your obvious level of intellect and class.

We should post at different times in the morning, we are following each other around again right now...

Any ways.
Universal love is hard, but it's correct. I care for and respect your humanity, all.
Thank you for your time,

You have nothing to say to anything other than my post script outro?

It dosne't seem honest. You spend a lot of time and energy be-littling me, seems a waste for someone you don't care a whiff about. But if that's your counter point...

I have nothing more to say to you, please try to refrain from talking to me (with your trademark style) until such time as we might get along better. This might be less constructive than yesterday.

I just want to discuss. I am sorry if I don't like being treated with ignorance and disrespect. Deal with it, either by not complaining, or not treating me as such...

Until you say something worth responding to no.

Believe as you wish.

Yet curiously you felt you had to respond. I will talk to you when I decide to do so and not at your demand or request.
