Well I am still confident my God and Bible are not fallible, but man is, so the mistake must be in the method as insanity stated, not in God.

The method was wrong but so is the hypothesis. Either way it constitutes a survey not a experiment.
The mistake is likely neither in the method nor your bible, but your own mind.
