Rayaan, I think we need a Willy Wonka meme that say's "Oh, American citizens want to help?" "There must be oil."
You know, I don't give a shit about nay-sayers anymore, I support the campaign, if you think I'm being dumb for doing so, then let it be. At least I man up for what I believe to be the right thing, and untill those that proclaim that its a scam provide evidence that it is indeed a scam, I'll stand my ground. Do bear in mind that this is not the only campaign I support.
So much destructive behaviour, and not an ounce of constructive behaviour. If it is a scam, please provide the evidence. Show me that there are people that are making a wealthy living out of this campaign or shut the fuck up.
That people will come with absolutely anything to get attention? Seriously, oil companies are now behind Kony 2012? The charity started in 2004, a year before the oil was discovered. The founders had been active in Uganda for longer than that. Why have the oil companies waited this long to do anything? Why would they wait for a President who campaigned on ending the wars in order to try and get America to go to war with another country.
I value good skepticism, but these arguments are pathetically weak, and they are bordering on pure speculation. I want evidence, not random assertions!
Oh, and please be honest to me, if you're not honest to yourselves, just say "LastPoet, you are dumb for falling into the scam", I promise I won't be offended.

Hey, I'd even volunteer to go into the woods to catch the guy, if someone provided me with an AK-47 and plane tickets as I'm dirt poor.
Of course, a SEAL team with sniper rifles and pin-point accuracy would do a better job getting the guy, but meh, all those that are so prude about war are all good and well speaking from their desktop against campaigns like this. RE: More Kony Shit

Why would they wait for a President who campaigned on ending the wars in order to try and get America to go to war with another country. Why did American invade Iraq and Afghanistan then? Why do they want Iran oil too? They took Libya oil. Remember George W. Bush campaigned on a no war basis as well, but we know politicians words mean nothing, as we can see. The US is running out of money and all we have is a giant over used military complex! If we want to use it, it will take massive oil reserves. I don't know the truth either, I just smell fishyness all over this Kony thing. I think a lot of it has to do with Sudan as well. I think Clinton bombed them a few times as well, most things are interconnected. http://www.thegic.org/video/kony-2012-exposed http://www.infolinkit.com.au/community-i...t-as-such/ (March 27, 2012 at 3:44 pm)LastPoet Wrote: Hey, I'd even volunteer to go into the woods to catch the guy, if someone provided me with an AK-47 and plane tickets as I'm dirt poor. You bring up a good point. If all they wanted was the man dead, he would be dead. They kill presidents! Also 100 US soldiers are already in their.
Precisely, if the US want to go to war again, they just will. They can make up reasons on their own without having to rely on a charity film.
Also, the whole notion of going to war with Uganda over Kony is absurd if you even think about it for a second. Kony is an enemy of the Ugandan government; the US could not declare war on Uganda under the guise of hunting down Kony...it makes no sense. RE: More Kony Shit

You smell fishiness? Is that evidence? Please do provide it, instead of getting into the slippery slope of "Americans do things for Oil". By the way, if there was any profit, I'm sure the American government would be already there, without the need for a civilian campaign. Please be honest, just say you think people that support this are dumb.
