Hard Reset is a fun, fast very Quake-like FPS set in a dystopian cybertech setting.

Pretty much all my PC games are off Steam with the exception of Minecraft and SWKotOR2, because they are both not available on Steam.
Personally I think it's pretty good, I don't really mind not having a hard copy of the game, means I don't have to fuck about putting in discs and it doesn't take up space on my shelves. Installation is usually made piss easy as well which is my main gripe with playing PC games.

My favorite part is that your games autopatch themselves.

I like Steam but I like my bookshelf full of PC games too.

I haven't used Steam since CounterStrike moved over to it. CS is all I used it for. I hated it back then. It was very unstable and caused a ton of issues all the time.

Steam has improved quite alot since the early days. If you still got your account you should maybe give it another go. Might suprise you so much you won't just fart... you'll follow through.

I use Steam - reluctantly - for Empire Total War. I'm having a new computer built and can't wait to see all the hoops I have to go through to reinstall it on the new machine.

Yea, admittedly it was getting better each time I revisited CS 1.6 (never liked source).
Right now, I don't have a desktop. I will be heading back to steam when I get myself a new PC. For now, fatherhood comes first.
Edit: I usually make fart noises on the mic after a Deagle headshot.
