I"ll admit that I don't know the full story, only rumor, innuendo, and hearsay.

There may have been bribery involved, or extortion. Perhaps even worse.

She threatened to take the forum under her control if she didn't get her own username colour. Regretfully the admins had no choice but to conform with her demands, as afterall, she is empress of the entire galaxy.
