Genocide, rape and murder. You need to decide if these are bad things?

So if your god existed, he'd be a mass murderer and a slaver. Basically Hitler with less moustaches and more superpowers. What a nice guy.

Should be interesting.

Spinning around his orbit??? Seems to me he's an attention whore who needs to jump into every thread regardless of his lack of anything significant to say.

Unless you were referring to his weight...

Well, the problem, dear John, is that our personal opinions about what is "significant" happen to differ. I'd prefer Min's sarcastic comments to your religious blathering any day.

But it's okay, I realize that you guys have to insult something about him to detract from the fact that he's historically accurate and you guys aren't.

Therefore, Christianity endorses slavery and genocide, as long as god is doing it. So much for the religion of love.
God despises evil for the damage it causes. When people refuse to stop doing evil, and when they do not accept God's sacrifice for their evil, He has to put an end to the evil. That means destroying the vessel carrying the evil. But He loves the vessels (people), and gives them chances to reform. As 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." The majority of instances of genocide in the Old Testament occurred after a word of warning--Nineveh, Babylon, Sodom, Tyre, Israel ect. all received calls for repentance. God does not kill for personal reasons, He kills in the name of good and in protection of the people who do recognize the problems with sin (sin being the opposite of love).

So he kills people for their own good.
