Well there always one that has to ruin a joke.
But to the points
1. Why do you think the PM has most of the power. Does the British civil war ring a bell?
2. England did at one point but we let it go a long time ago.
3. Well American is getting so far from English it might as well be its own language.
4. Nothing to say
5. I agree and slowly the rest of the UK are as well, in fact any type of Royal thing, the British are the least impressed, like the wedding of Will and Kate or was it the other brother?
I'm so glad you responded to all 5 of my bullet points. I meant for them to be tired and cliche with only a tiny sprinkling of truth to each one.
Why? just to make a point, and that is: Even though I was "joking around" you STILL took the time to defend your own country.
I aint mad at ya at all, I just want to make sure you know what you're saying when you say "I ruined a joke."
Does a polish man, an Italian or a Jew ruin the joke about a Pollock, a Wop or a Kike?
Because when you refer to me and everyone in my country as a dumb redneck ... it's the same thing.
Make sure to tell all the black people not to ruin the joke when you tell them a good nigger joke.

Somebody should remind that pretentious royal bitch and her country full of tea swilling dandies some quick facts as well:
1. What does a queen know about democracy? It's called a vote bitch, US citizens don't wait around for hundreds of years of inbreeding to give them their next president.
2. She can't even conquer the drunken Irish that habitat her own puny island country. How is she supposed to run off the mighty US???
3. As for responsibility regarding the bastardization of the English language (look up 'bastardization'), you can blame your own countrymen, the Irish, and the Gypsies long before you blame the USA. See the movie Snatch for an example.
4. American's are British ... or European of some sort. American's are a country of immigrants. It's your ancestors that screwed up their own language at some point. The only true language native to America was nearly wiped out when our European ancestors (turned "American" by that point) killed everyone.
5. Tell that blue-blooded bitch that her and her family are a huge burden on the British people. Our presidential family doesn't score even an 1/8th of the income that she does. Who is she to judge anyone?
What's that old quip? o yeah: "HEY hey, don't get so upset, it's just a joke man!"
I'm sure I could list a whole lot more national insults and package them up as "funny" for everyone to enjoy.
Somehow that just validated the said bitch's assumption of superiority.

This response here will work fine for your above response as well. Take note that my original post had tongue well in cheek.

Don't worry about it. We'll see what Chuck has to say about my very obvious cliche insults of all things British.

I think British Humour and and American Humour don't mix well.

Maybe. For me it's not about that. I bash all religions equally and fairly, but I've never bashed a man's nationality without making it obvious that I was trying to sound like a dolt. I have an ample amount of respect for the British people and I was trying to make my version of the OPs "joke" sound just like the one I just read about Americans ... biased, angry and unfair.
I'm not beatin the horse here ... I realize you were posting the joke in jest.

An American can only redeem his Americanness by taking insults to his Americanness with good grace uncharacteristic of an American.

I see you missed the whole point, and you managed to slip two more insults in with your condescending reprimand. You've got cliche national bigotry down to an art form.
You have just validated everything I was saying.
