I am capable of "killing" with my vehicle, bike or car, quite easily.
BUT
To compare my vehicle to that of a gun IS ludicrous!! Guns are much more efficient and less messy.
You can also kill someone with your bare hands. Being able to kill someone with a car or your hands does not make it a design goal.
Just don't let her have a chainsaw.

The only moral quarrels I have ever had, were when I was older and learned that the same weapon was fired at Poles and Russians.
But basicaly, especialy the countryside is filled with WW2 weapons in privat ownership, even although regulations here a very strickt. People aswell as lawinforcement seem to simply not care about the regulations in most cases, except for cases of complete fucktards who bunker machineguns, mortar shells and handgranades because they think the soviets will invade, even do the soviet union has seized to exist 20 years ago.
It is a myth that firearms aren`t that wide spread in privat ownership in Europe, one only needs to go to France, Swizerland and Germany and look for oneselves. Regulations might be strickt, but no one cares, and we dont make such big shows out of it as you do. Germans, I know little about guns, but I can see that is a regular bolt-action rifle. I don't think anyone wants to completely ban those. There's a big difference between that and a semi-automatic or fully automatic assault rifle.

And in Australia they are many people such as yourself that have justifiable reasons for owning guns. I have quite a few friends and acquaintances that have guns(farmers and the like).
But it is the sheer numbers of weapons in the hands of people that have no good reason that just astounds me.
Don't get me wrong. I like guns and have used them numerous times.
I just don't think that my right to have guns outweighs a childs right to go to school without being fucking murdered.

I'm glad you folks think this is all so very funny. Or not.

No oro, this is not funny.
Me wanting a chainsaw is funny (I have no reason to own one) which is the point.
Here in Oz there are those who have a legitimate reason for owning a gun/ firearm, none of those reasons have anything to do with 2nd amendments, paranoia, a lack of trust in the judicial system or the constabulary nor the ability to be able to protect oneself and ones family.
The paranoia seems to be confined to the USofA alone. Why?? The rest of the planet is unable to understand.

Hey at least I live in a country that has only a few Americans in it! Seriously though, Americans think that the whole world operates with their mindset.
