J’accuse

J’accuse
J’accuse ( I accuse ) Is the famous title of a french publication during the 19th century in the aftermaph of the franco-prussian war and the then rise of antisemitism and the resulting "Dreifuss Afair".

Chose this title because of the disturbing rise of antisemitism in France recently.
Some of you may have heard of the recent law suit against twitter.
And I am certain many of you know of the Toulouse terror attack, in which a islamist opened fire on students at a jewish school.

It would be foolish to deny that antisemitism hasn`t been on the rise all accross Europe, but it comes as no suprise to me that the most dramatic rise in antisemetic violence and actions has been in catholic countries such as Poland, Hungary and France.

Not only does the recent financial crisis give talking points for the old antisemetic jewish world conspiracy nuts, but also it seems as if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has given antisemites the stage to pose as legitemate political commentators.
Also it seems that a large muslim comunity tends to further antisemitism.

RE: J’accuse
I never understood why anti-semitism always seems worse when people get short of cash.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

RE: J’accuse
I am not sure if it has anything to do with the recent anti-semitism but the countries you named have a long history of vivid anti-semitism.

Actually, I think it has everything to do with the Israel-Palestina conflict.
