Pompey......Damn does that bring back nightmares. Let me explain. National Geographic, when it was ethical, also put out a kid's magazine when I was a kid. My first issue of "World" magazine had a story about the ancient eruption, WITH PICTURES, of the body molds. That shit gave me nightmares. MOM what the fuck were you thinking giving that to me? I get that I need an education, but at 7? Is death really something you want to scare the shit out of a kid with at that age? Believe me I am over it, but it really did scare the shit out of me.
Welcome in any case.

I thought Pompey involved a volcanic eruption and a few hundred people obliterated by the cascading lava.
Just proves that American schooling is shit, I suppose.

I rather thought the pictures were pretty, and the story interesting

Not if your one of the strange Portsmouth FC fans. Then they pronounce it Pom-ee or Pom-pee.

The English are weird. I remember thoroughly trouncing them last night with the americans. I was trying to stall the game out to get 200 resource production in Baltimore (It was at 194 last I checked, and I was sending settlers in there), but then my mind totally blanked after my girlfriend fucked me, and I failed to get a third achievement off that game (First american win, first domination victory on deity, and the attempted 'curse of the drinking class').
I still can't believe I trounced london without thinking about getting that annoying achievement TT__TT

What the fuck were you smoking? They had plaster casts of dead bodies. Now I am not ignoring the reality of death, but when you are 7 I don't know how these images can keep you mentally stable.
Even outside the issue of volcanos I cant wade in the ocean because of Jaws.
