RE: Hello!
Yes, okay I mean all supernatural gods. Any deities.

Well yes, of course you can be an agnostic atheist, or an agnostic theist, or a gnostic atheist, or a gnostic theist. But my point is that gnostic atheist believe that they positively know there are no gods, and that is different to merely disbelieving in gods. Right?

RE: Hello!
Of course that is possible, but that is not what theism or atheism addresses, that is the gnostic and agnostic part.

I know that, and I don't believe I ever said anything to the contrary?

Yeah, okay well...I'm a pedantic bastard, ok? I created that thread ages ago, the "Pedantic Bastard" competition, what do you expect?

I spent most of the time being pedantic about myself in a schizo kind of well, but I was pedantic about others too lol.

When you start your reply with "Actually, there is..." that infers already that you don't agree with what I said. Then you continue to say that it is possible to positively believe such and such, but don't acknowledge in one single message that that is the gnostic part of gnostic atheist, not the atheist part.

RE: Hello!
The fact I said there's Gnostic atheism, acknowledges the fact that there's also Agnostic atheism, right? (And I've acknowledged that elsewhere too of course).

I was just saying that positively believing that there definitely is no God or gods=Gnostic atheism, so not every atheist merely disbelieves. That's all I meant. Apologises for any misunderstandings Sad
