1. Rocky
2. A Beautiful Mind 3. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World 4. This Is Spinal Tap 5. The Blues Brothers If there are any fellow fans of Rashomon, reading the reviews of the blu-ray tonight, I find that the Criterion collection blu-ray is a new transfer done in 2008 from a 1962 print. It's not flawless, but it appears to be a substantial improvement over the 2002 Criterion DVD release. RE: Top 5 films

Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
Oh, and I would like to give an honorable mention to 'I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK' and 'Burn After Reading'.

As is "I'm a cyborg, but that's OK!"
As for me, well... District 9 Shaun of the Dead Summer Wars Oldboy Let the Right One In With a special mention going to Dead Leaves, though I'm not sure that one even counts as a movie.
