I know it's been a while, but it seems silly to make a new post while there are so many who have contributed to this one. So, I'll put my results here.

Economic Left/Right: 5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.18

That's a fairly moderate libertarian.

I really think that the questions they ask are remarkably presumptive about the reasons a person might choose an option... for example, there's a question that says 'attempting to rehabilitate some criminals is a waste of time'... how can one not agree when they use the word 'some' in a statement like that, regardless of what they believe about the 'rehability' (wtf) of criminals? Thinking

At best, it gives a general area ±<arbitrary> clicks... but really: it's flawed in a number of areas, and it's honestly just inaccurate. Smile

Social's about right. Economic is off - it should be slightly right, about the same as social. Too many questions on large multinational corporations. I don't want to give corporations free rein, but there's a lot more to economics than that.

So I'm with Gandhi! I wonder if anyone ever goes into Hitler/Stalin territory on these things and how would a person react to that? lol

Some of the questions where kind of tricky. Like saying that the advantage of a one-party system is that we wouldn't have to deal with all of the political gridlock. Technically that IS an advantage but that still doesn't mean its a good thing. Tongue
