So I just woke up and she isn't even here! Sad times. Hungry times. The place we were gonna order from doesn't open till 11, so maybe she's planning to get home for then? I'm gonna wait and see.
Don't eat a pizza for breakfast. It's just a bad idea. Unless you have the metabolism of a hero.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Shut up. You're not my grown-up!
Plus your reasoning makes no sense.

My reasoning that pizza is bad for you?

I have been on an Odyssey to take anatomy and physiology in the fall.
My college transcript (from the school I graduated from) has my Bio 101 course marked as "Diversity of Life." I was a history major, so they weren't fussed about which bio class I took, they just wanted a general bio to fulfill my science requirement. Well, the prerequisite for A&P is Bio 101, not "Diversity of Life." So I had to contact the school I took the Bio 101 class at... Way back in 1999... This community college doesn't send things electronically... Has to receive requests in writing, fax, snail mail, or in person only. So after 2 weeks of messing with their student records department, I got my transcript and sent it to the A&P professor who was blocking my registering for his class because my "Diversity of Life" credit wasn't good enough.
Now he's saying the course is more than 5 years old and I need to retake it... Nary a mention of this policy until he saw my transcript. It would have been nice to know this before I spent 2 weeks getting my fucking transcript. My degree is more than 6 years old... Does that magically make it invalid? Does that mean if I were to take advanced history courses, I'd first need to retake Western Civ?
/annoyed
I get it, I really do. I wasn't a science major, I took the course 14 years ago, it's not in the current working knowledge center of my brain... But it's still there. I took a chem entrance exam and passed, after three days of studying with a chem book from the library and not having taken a chem class since high school.
I'm not going to fight it. I'm going to take the Bio 101 class again. Then, Spring semester, I'm going to take his section of A&P, and be the top student in his class... That'll show him. GRRRR! School rage.
/end rant

I learned that I have a severe phobia of things touching my eyes. It didn't help that the eye doctors I saw today were total assholes about it and made me feel like shit.
Other than that I'm ok. Finally got all the loan money I need yesterday to go off to grad school!

Super tired. I've been designing a new network with inadequate power source and under unreasonable time constraints. QC has not been fond the work perform from by local nationals. I hope to leave this in two months for much needed vacation.
