Seems like a reasonable position to me. I feel the same way. What is, is .. period. I just call that the natural world while you call it reality. Meh.

Of course, whatever we call it, we may disagree about what is included. Regardless, I remain committed to what is, whatever that turns out to be. But I'm still not tossing any god's salad for the opportunity extend my own existence. I haven't always been and I won't always be, and that is as certain as taxes.
