Why do you you think we have gender equality, or racial equality or whatever else kind equality you care to mention in the first place? Christian values my friend, the teachings of the gospels and the equal worth of man (including women) before God. Your values are Christian values to the bone.

Equality and humanistic principals are what Jesus taught and many of the our civil rights movements and other acts such as the abolition of the slave trade were inspired by Christian morality. Not to say other religions don't teach some good morality but they didn't necessarily all teach equality of rights and status. In India for example they have a caste system and in the Islamic world men are still dominant to women something you may have noticed. You don't poo poo the achievements of Christian civilization or claim them in the name of atheism. Atheism did nothing at all.

Knowing the scientific fact that humans existed long before the concoction of Christianity, or even Hebrews, what makes you think anything good or bad a human can do did not exist prior to the invention of your pet superstition? And what makes you think people outside your superstition today cant come to the same conclusions about morality?

Your willful ignorance makes me sick, and only reveals just how intellectually (and morally) vacant you really are. The best thing Christianity ever did for the world was formulate the current system of statecraft every advanced society operates; namely secularism. The establishment of structures abolishing illegitimate religious institutions interfering in the matters of a sovereign state. I don't expect you to understand that.

Christian Domestic Discipline

He has the ultimate authority in his household, but this authority is tempered with the knowledge that he will answer to God for his actions and decisions. The final decision rests with him, and therefore, the final responsibility, whatever the outcome, is his to bear. A wise husband will not make a major decision without prayerfully asking God for wisdom, and without seeking his wife's counsel. Prov. 20:5

Strongly counterintuitive? You do realize that is saying that there must be more to my mind because my mind tells me so? Given the flaws of the human brain and its desire to perceive things in a manner that keep it at ease, saying physical reduction is counterintuitive is a bold statement that you can't possible defend properly.
