Flight of the Conchords

Flight of the Conchords
It's been a while since they've gone off the air, but they are brilliant and I still find myself laughing at their material.

If you like a bit of cerebral humor, but nothing too heady, you'll love em.

Finally! Something we can agree on. Though my favorite is Business Time Big Grin

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I went and saw Rhys Darby's (Murry) stand up, it's not at all what you would imagine it would be from watching flight of the conchords. Basically his schtick is quite impressive vocal sound effects.

Best comedy I'd been to in a while (His 2nd warm up act was damn good as well)
Nemo me impune lacessit.

Yeah! I remember when a friend of mine introduced Flight of the Concords to me many years ago, Jenny was the first son she played for me. I laughed my ass off Big Grin

I couldn't watch it with my wife. I showed her one once, she just couldn't get the humour and sat through with a face like she was chewing a lemon.

I had to watch the rest of them after she had gone to bed, I'm sure she thought I was waiting to watch porn.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
