We believe christians exist, though, and they often like to infringe upon the rights of people. Surprisingly, we're allowed to have more than one thought at any given time, though I can see why a christian might be surprised at that.

Sin means contrary to biblical teaching. True and not hateful. Sexual used to indicate the type of behaviour being discussed.

You mean the same biblical teachings that tell us that a bride should be killed if she's not a virgin?

Or that a victim of rape should be forced to marry her rapist?

Or that a disobedient child should be stoned to death by the whole town?

Don't use the hateful, evil contents of the bible as justification here Chad, it carries no weight at all.

When will you ever understand? We are not 'against' your version of whatever god it is you believe in. WE DON'T BELIEVE THAT YOUR GOD EXISTS! How can one be against something that is imaginary (until proven otherwise)?

Sticking up for sexual equality is NOT ubiqitous to being an atheist; It's ubiqitous to being a humanist maybe, or an egalitarian. It is called a 'coincidence' that many atheists are also in favour of sexual equality; yet you read into it as another persecution against Xtians/theists per se.

Do you have any actual evidence that Jacob is a 'faker'? Or is it an automatic attack from you because he seems to have a different (less judgemental) take on his interpretation of the bible?

By the way, where do you get off telling Jacob what he believes? His attitude is far more in line with the spirit of what christians like to pretend christianity's message is than yours will ever be.
