What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Yeah, I'm a little conflicted about Thanksgiving. We should be Thankful to somebody every day IMHO. Why do we need one day reserved for it. Plus, Turkey and gravy and mashpos don't excite me, and the overload that is expected of you can be very, very hard on my system.

But, hey. It's Thanksgiving. Gotta eat! That's what people do!

Yeah I never understood the whole 'ON THIS DAY ONLY we are thankful'. Although I do think the food is nice.

Wearing my comfort, a pair of hot pink Minnie Mouse jammie bottoms, an oversized blaze orange tee, and waiting to greet somebody new in an hour. Coffee is good this morning. Unfortunately, my ISP's automatic bill payment charge stole my coffee maker money. I suppose it's all good.

I'm laying in bed, nekid under a wool blanket trying to tear myself away from the computer to feed myself and the dog. There are a couple chores to do today in preparation for cookin and entertaining tomorrow. But all I seem to want to do is lay here and put off starting the day. The dog is no help. She is sleeping patiently beside the bed.

I need to shower. I'm really mismanaging my time today.

LastPoet got me talking about beer in shoutbox, so I decided to witness. Southern Tier brewing company's "Plum Noir" imperial porter brewed with Italian plums. I've been waiting to crack this one a while.

A touch hoppy for a porter, and lacking in strong chocolatey notes, but otherwise quite enjoyable. It's not a porter drinker's porter, but few porters are.

pretty crappy start to my day lol. Honestly it can only get better from this point on.

Shouldn't have said that. Good thing I'm not superstitious, lol.

whateverist, don't get up, it's not worth it. You know it's not.

After an afternoon of cheap beer and cheap shots by the missus, she buried the hatchet by opening a bottle of wine to share. Unfortunately, it's muscadine grape wine. The only thing worse than this shit is the grapes themselves. Blech!

(I'm on my third glass. I'm not proud of it, but whatevs...)
