I guess for your wife's sake I will have to go line by line and to show the dishonesty in the questions asked.. This should help your wife 'reseal' that door.
Poor Drippy....another rational person has examined your horseshit and found the problems with it. Soon it will just be you and the even nuttier muslims!

I think that Drich is every bit as nutty as the taliban Muslims. People like hime really do want a xtian Taliban implemented in the USA here and now.
It will never happen, of course, but that does not stop them from wishing it were so.

Well my wife is a spiritualist, we were taking and she happened to mention the Fox sisters as if they were "real" spiritualists. It just so happened that I had read that they were self confessed fakes.(although later recanted, as though you can do that).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_sisters
I could almost see the gears move as my wife tried to fit her beliefs into the evidence.
This is what she came up with.
"The Fox sisters were real spiritualists but in their desire to spread the faith they augmented their real abilities to try and convince others of the truth."
Her view of reality restored she went on with her day.
For a second there though I rocked her world.

She really enjoyed our time together discussing the bible. She was enjoying the test, and at one point (almost half way through) she said "I think these are trick questions". Ahh ha! I asked her why she thought that, and I reassured her that the answers were to be found in her own bible. Her skepticism of the test grew as the questions continued, and following the final question she said "This isn't going to make God look too good". She scored 24/50 and she was shocked by some of God's commands, requirements, and behaviors. Later that evening, she seemed much more open to my direct questions about her God, and she agreed that the OT is questionable. I reminded her that the NT is also full of weirdness, and of some of the bat-shit crazy things Jesus supposedly said and did. At one point I could swear I heard the faintest of sounds - to me it sounded like the first movement of a long rusted hinge on a door that has blocked the light for years. Has any atheist here been able to inject reason into their Christian spouse's/partner's considerations? I'm having a blast illuminating my wife's cognitive landscape.

We have the KKK. Luckily they don't have as much power as they used to. Christianity is embedded in the school system, despite that we're supposed to have a separation of church and state.

YAY me. Lion, did you get them all right because you really know the Bible that well, or did you have to guess at all?
I'm just curious- I don't know the Bible at all well and so I scored poorly.

I got them all right because I know the bible better than FFRF.
They got almost every one wrong.

I don't know what's worse: knowing almost everything in the bible and accepting it, or being ignorant of most of the things in the bible and accepting it anyway.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
