What I saw offline today.

Quill, what a pretty ladybug! I love them Smile I dub thee ladybug.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

What subject do you teach?

Math. Algebra for all. I teach a coalition of the willing and the unwilling.

Win.

There's no BBCode (that I'm seeing) to post windowed video from Flickr.

How lovely! Were just getting rainy and sleety crap here.

Those snowy trees are beautiful. I remember scenes like that where each limb and twig is outlined in white. The soundtrack is kind of surreal when matched to that scenery.

We always just seem to get muddy sludge around here.

We'd settle for getting more muddy. We've got next to no snow in the mountains and have had precious little rain either. It looks like a bad drought this year.
