Well you would not be the only one. Wink Shades

Variety is the spice of life as they say. I don't know if that is true but it sounds plausible.

To be honest the beliefs of the scientologists aren't that much weirder than "normal" religions.

Which was probably Hubbards point all along.

Do we actually know if Hubbard actually believed what he was writing or not?

Because i think they'd look good on me? Smile I've wished since late Elementary School that some alien, god, or other 'force' would just 'magically' fix my terribly 'warped' body for me. As is evident... this was too much to ask for Sad So maybe if they just give me freckles... freckles are surely minor enough to not change my "fate" or "purpose" or whatever.... right? Big Grin

Although I have no genuine hope for such a change to occur from some benevolent 'force'... I still fervently wish that there was one to perform almost any one of the variety of different forms of "release" i've envisioned/imagined over the years Tongue Hence I've decided that my constant wishing cannot be denied as being borderline religious in my underlying desperate desire for "release" (see my religious views).

Without the psychological analysis and history behind my desire to have freckles: I think they'd look good on me Smile If I had a freckle for every pimple I've had... Tongue

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
