RE: De-Motivational
Re: that last one - I actually did that about twenty-odd years ago, but completely by accident. I was out shopping with my family and we'd gone into some mini-market or other, picking up some accessories for my then-infant nephew Chris. When we got to the checkout we put all our shopping onto the conveyor, except for the very large pack of nappies I was carrying (when I say large, think catering size with a carrying handle on top). You see, we'd been walking around the shop so long I had totally and genuinely forgotten I was carrying them. It wasn't until we were outside wondering why the shopping was so cheap that we realised.

It must have been because my body language was so perfectly natural, instead of my teying to act naturally, that we got away with it.

Incidentally, before the accusations start flying, I went back to explain and apologise. The staff were friendly and understanding, not to mention highly amused. In fact, we were given some free sweets for Chris because of our honesty.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Good point , and like George in Seinfeld's tv show once said "Its not a lie if you believe it" .

Funny but disturbing at the same time
"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful" - Edward Gibbon (Offen misattributed to Lucius Annaeus Seneca or Seneca the Younger) (Thanks to apophenia for the correction)
'I am driven by two main philosophies:
Know more about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you' - Neil deGrasse Tyson
"Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." - Mark Twain

This one's not so much a demotivational as good survival advice:

I printed that last one off this very afternoon when it appeared on facebook. Its on my freezer as we speak.
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."
