My friends all say I'm a good rapper (I've rapped on many a karaoke night) but I haven't made any original music. I do like gay hip-hop, though. It reminds me of the golden age of rap when the lyrics actually had meaning and purpose. I just don't think I could limit myself to making music on only one subject like that. I mean, being gay doesn't define me any more than being an atheist or a vegetarian or a feminist does. All those things are just are just labels, and the real fabric of who I am is made up of my moral values and the choices that I make.

It sounds good to me
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

I listen to rap occasionally, but I especially like Eminem's rap songs.
Thanks for all the lovely compliments, everyone.
I've been working at it for about 6-7 years...ya'll don't want to hear anything I recorded back in 2008.
I'm from the Metro Detroit area so Eminem is very big over here. I work only a mile away from Eminem's house so I've driven by it a couple times. It's friggin' HUGE (it used to be the house of Kmart's CEO). When Eminem raps about running over fanboys in his driveway, I like to think he had me somewhere in his mind.
