Rico, do you see yourself as a sower of enlightenment or do you really hope to overcome these strange ideas of yours by exposing them to ridicule. If the latter, we're doing our level best to help.

You see Whatever, i could post in a forum where people believe what i believe but that would be very boring after a while.
In forum like this where people believe the opposite of what i believe i find a lot of fun especially considering that you guys can not prove a single thing
you talk about.
You post in the philosophy forum but you haven't got a clue about the meaning of philosophy.
The same for religion, spirituality about God about life in general so
when i expose your lack of knowledge i feel great.
It is like eating the cherry on the cake. Smile

I know that you are very intelligent raset so you may help me to understand something.
Why P.R.Sarkar was acquitted of all charges.
Don't you find strange to charge someone and then say that he is innocent?
I just do not understand.
Please rasu help or i will go mad. ThinkingConfusedhock:Thinking

I don't know why he was convicted and I don't know why he was later acquitted. I doubt you do either.

You are biased to presume innocence. I am not. You are happy to spout ignorant opinions. I am not.

Usually when you reach enlightenment you may well die but not always.
As i was saying in the last few days to keep yourself alive 3 factors must have some parallelism.
Body- mind and the I must keep connected to each other.
What happen when the I reach the ultimate goal with the enlightenment it can not keep connected with bodies and mind that are not 100%
perfect so the parallelism is lost and the I can not longer stick with non perfect medium.
In some cases that does not happen but is rarer.

1) My spiritual teacher is the late P.R.Sarkar.
I answer your question as a mean of courtesy but i am sure that
rasetsu now will start barking and telling that i proselytize.
2) Nothing to do with religions like Hinduism.
He was teaching Yoga.
3) Yes, there is a website.
If i would indicate to you the dogs would bark again
accusing me of proselytize.
Have a good day anyway. Smile

Ok. then i give you a little help so you may understand a bit better how the system works.
Just yesterday i was reading that few activists were jailed in China for urging officials to disclose assets.
Now, why the hell you would jail people who did nothing wrong?
That is how the system works dear rasu.
It happen all the time.
When the corrupted system feel threaten it will do anything to stop
those who threaten it.
It happen in China yesterday it happen in India many years ago it happened in Australia, in the US, in Russia and everywhere else.

Not really the same as opening a car door is easy and simple and doesn't involve harming yourself in any way.

There is a small big problem boy.
In the body you haven't got the chance to get out unless you kill yourself
or by natural ways like the body death or you reach the goal of life (enlightenment) so you are really stuck inside your body.

Quote:Why must the 'I' have to get a new 'body-mind'? And how do you know this?

1) It is all about the lost of parallelism about body-mind and the I.
2) It is natural that different things can not go hand in hand but you are free to believe that a rotten body can go along with a bright mind or a strong consciousness for long.

Quote:And yet again, you fail to explain anything. How exactly does spirituality eliminate death? I want details, specifics, mechanisms. All you did in response to my question was assert again that spirituality stops death.

It is obvious that you can not believe as you never practice spirituality.
When you will do in some next lives you will understand how spirituality can burn reactions to previous actions so to control the karma law.

Thank you for answering my question. I can now get a better idea of what you're talking about by going to the website etc.

I found this on the website - Spiritual Philosophy

Quote:The spiritual philosophy of Ananda Marga recognizes that God is one, and that the universe is the creation of His mental thought-waves. Thus it is said: "Brahma is the absolute truth, and the universe is also truth, but relative."

Brahma is a Hindu concept.

Tantra

Quote:Tantra[note 1] is the name given by scholars to a style of meditation and ritual which arose in India no later than the 5th century AD.[1] The earliest documented use of the word "Tantra" is in the Rigveda (X.71.9).[2] Tantra has influenced the Hindu, Bön, Buddhist, and Jain traditions and silk road transmission of Buddhism that spread Buddhism to East and Southeast Asia.[3]

Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar[note 2] describes a tantric individual and a tantric cult:

A person who, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, aspires for spiritual expansion or does something concrete, is a Tantric. Tantra in itself is neither a religion nor an "ism". Tantra is a fundamental spiritual science. So wherever there is any spiritual practice it should be taken for granted that it stands on the Tantric cult."[6]

So, the meditation technique originated in India and he used as least one Hindu term to express a concept. This isn't really surprising seeing as he came from India. Brahma is also a useful term because it means his idea of God is nothing like the monotheistic deity of Judaism/Christianity/Islam.

How is that different from you? What is it you've proven? Oh wait, that word means something else to you. Your proof is based on intuitional science, right? You're so funny.

Yet again you fail to answer my questions.
Why must the 'I' have to get a new 'body-mind'? and for that matter, please define 'I' and 'body-mind'
And how do you know all this?

Am I to presume from your lack of an answer, that spirituality can't eliminate death? Or that you simply don't know how it can or even if it can?
Am I going to have to ask again? How can spirituality eliminate death? I want an actual explanation as to how it works. A single sentance won't surfice so aim for about a paragraph.

Are you an idiot rasu? Thinking

I am aware corruption and bad acts occur. You are assuming that the bad act was convicting Sarkar. I am not. Releasing Sarkar may have been the bad act.

Or neither. Or both.

Sarkar was acquitted. That doesn't mean he was "innocent."

Corruption in India "in general" does not imply there was corruption in either of these specific acts.

As I said, you're biased to presume innocence and like to spout ignorant opinions. You don't know whether Sarkar was innocent any more than I do.

But you'll form an opinion based on your biases combined with inconclusive facts. That makes you the idiot.

Sometimes the right thing happens for the wrong reason. Sometimes the wrong thing happens for the right reason. You don't know which is which here any more than I do. But you believe you do, based on nothing but your wishing for Sarkar to have been a good man. You don't know that he was not a bad man any more than I do. But you've got your ignorant opinions.....

Way too late.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
